as summer starts to slide we grab at the last little bits. soon, the leaves will turn, the sweaters will come out of hibernation and a whole new list of great food will adorn our ceramic canvas. but not yet! citrus pickled tybee island shrimp with fennel, basil, toasted bread and chili oil.
pan roasted virginia flounder with marinated summer squash and mediterranean salsa of calabrian peppers, preserved lemon, capers and parsley. grilled hanger steak with guajillo chili-carrot puree and cilantro salad.
perfect summer dessert. lemon curd with berries and vanilla whipped cream.

a short peak into fall weather this week got me excited for what is to come. so, our first fall soup! roasted chicken and barley soup with arugula-walnut pistou and preserved lemon. heart warming! housemade tagliatelle with sapelo island clams, calabrian peppers, lemon and basil. rosemary bread pudding with salted caramel gelato from our friends at honeysuckle gelato! thank you to (from left to right) jean-marc, alice, ross, katie, mike, scott, rachel, amanda, jen and amy!
